Gillespie, Sr. and Sister Vernell Jones Memorial Scholarship was established to the honor the dedicated, loving and giving parents of Pastor L.J. Gillespie, Sr. An Institute Revival was also established in their honor which is an annual occurrence that promoted Christian students to excel and continue their education.
